Audio Series · Voices from BamBuk
People who drive — and tell stories about it.
Real stories. Your own words. No studio.
„Stimmen vom BamBuk” (Voices from BamBuk) is a loose audio series – not a weekly podcast, not a fully produced studio format. BamBuk riders share, in their own words, how the e-bike tandem fits into their everyday lives.
The opening features two episodes from the blind and visually impaired community. Further voices – from pilots, seniors, families, perhaps also from our workshop – will follow, if they have something to say.
"For blind people – and I can say this as someone affected – there is nothing better."

BamBuk in action
Frequently Asked Questions — specifically for blind and visually impaired interested parties
on inclusion & participation with physical and cognitive disabilities
Can I travel safely in the rear seat as a blind person?
Yes. The three wheels provide tilt stability, the harness strap (optional) offers additional security, and you sit upright — no recumbent position. Martin describes this in Episode 2 under „Safety for Higher Handicaps.”.
Who can drive me as a pilot?
Anyone who rides a normal bike and quickly familiarises themselves with the BamBuk. Family members, club members or inclusion companions from social services. Most clubs for blind and visually impaired people have pilot pools.
How much support does the motor offer?
Up to 25 km/h, four support levels, quiet and intuitively controllable.
How loud is the BamBuk when driving?
Very quiet. Martin says: „You can barely hear the engine, you only hear driving and ambient noises.” This allows for relaxed conversation and acoustic orientation.
Can I finance the trike or have it subsidised?
Depending on the individual case, it is possible to apply for aid, foundations or subsidies.
How can I try it out?
Simply arrange a test drive - on site or as a virtual consultation.
How is the trike delivered?
Pre-assembled to your home or to a specialist workshop on request.
Where can I find you at SightCity 2026?
From 27 to 29 May 2026 in Frankfurt. Test drives are possible on site. More on the trade fair appearance.
